Therapeutic Riding Program

Mobile Equestrian Center has the only  Path International Therapeutic  Riding Instructor with Center Member designation in the "251" area code.

PATH INTERNATIONAL is Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship International (PATH Intl.), a federally-registered 501(c3) nonprofit, was formed in 1969 as the North American Riding for the Handicapped Association to promote equine-assisted activities and therapies (EAAT) for individuals with special needs. It is a global authority, resource and advocate for equine-assisted activities and therapies and the equines in this work that inspire and enrich the human spirit.

Certified Therapeutic Riding Instructors with Path International need to demonstrate riding and teaching ability, knowledge, and, above all, safety while teaching equine-centered lessons to people of all abilities. Path Intl. certifies  that their instructors are knowledgeable and are practicing current industry standards in working with individuals with special needs. This commitment includes ongoing training in the form of required annual CEUs so they continue to offer the most current, up-to-date services in the industry.
